The Chino Hills Landscape and Lighting Districts Nos. 1 and 2 were formed to provide funding for the maintenance of street lighting, park, open space, and landscaping maintenance, as well as improvements throughout the districts. On July 28, 1992, the City Council accepted the consolidation of the two districts into a single district (Landscape and Lighting District 1).
Annually, the City Council is required to conduct a public hearing to review the operational cost for the Landscape and Lighting District 1 as presented in the Engineer’s Report and to set the annual assessments on properties within the district. Approval of this item will allow the Engineer’s Reports for the fiscal year 2020/21 to proceed.
The proposed report, once it has been completed, will be presented to the City Council on May 26, 2020, and a public hearing date will be set for final approval.
