Receive and file Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Update.
There have been recent actions taken by the State, San Bernardino County, and City of Chino Hills related to the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency since our last COVID-19 update on January 12, 2021.
Recent Developments
  • January 26, 2021: The City extends closures of facilities and some park amenities through February 28, 2021.
Current City Activity
  • The County of San Bernardino County is coordinating vaccine distribution in compliance with state guidelines. The City is working to support the County’s efforts. For more information and to sign up for email or text alerts visit
  • The City will continue to host COVID-19 testing at the McCoy Equestrian and Recreation Center. The following dates are currently scheduled: February 3rd, February 17th, March 3rd, March 17th, and March 31st.
  • City staff will continue to monitor state health orders and evaluate any impacts on City operations, facilities, and programs.

This proposed action is exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (California Public Resources Code §§ 21000, et seq., "CEQA") and CEQA Guidelines (Title 14 California Code of Regulations §§ 15000, et seq.), because it does not involve any commitment to a specific project which could result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment; and, constitutes an organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment. Accordingly, this action does not constitute a "project" that requires environmental review (see specifically 14 CCR § 15378(b)(4-5)).
