Meeting Date: 05/12/2020

SUBJECT:
CHINO HILLS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS' RE-APPOINTMENT
RECOMMENDATION:
Re-appoint David Kramer and Glen Anderson to the Board of Directors of the Chino Hills Community Foundation as recommended by the Board for a term ending May 2024.
BACKGROUND/ANALYSIS:
The Chino Hills Community Foundation (Board) was established in June 2008 to promote and support the cultural, educational, and recreational needs of the City of Chino Hills. The Board approved the designation of a Board Development Committee, whose responsibility is to screen and recommend potential Board members. All members of the Board must be appointed by the City Council. The Board currently has 15 members with a maximum of 21 allowable members.

At the March meeting, the Board voted to endorse David Kramer and Glen Anderson, and submit the nomination to Council for re-appointment. David Kramer has been on the board since May 2009. Glen Anderson has been on the board since September 2016. These positions were posted as required by Government Code 54972 at the end of the year including the date the position would become vacant, but no inquiries were received.
