The Shady View Drive Pavement Rehabilitation project (“project”) is included as part of the approved FY 2019-20 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The project limits extend from Butterfield Ranch Road to 170 feet south of Wrangler Road.
Staff has completed the construction plans and specifications for the project. The work includes cold milling of the existing asphalt concrete pavement surface, placement of an asphalt concrete overlay, upgrading existing access ramps where required, adjustment of utility manholes and water valve cans, and re-striping.
Staff is requesting approval of the plans and specifications for the project as well as authorization to advertise for construction. The engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $300,000 including the design, construction contract, contract administration, and 10% for contingencies.
