This agenda contains a brief general description of each item to be considered. Except as otherwise provided by law, no action shall be taken on any item not appearing on the agenda unless the City Council makes a determination that an emergency exists or that a need to take immediate action on the item came to the attention of the City subsequent to the posting of the agenda. The City Clerk has on file copies of written documentation relating to each item of business on this Agenda available for public inspection in the Office of the City Clerk, in the public binder located at the entrance to the Council Chambers, and on the City's website at www.chinohills.org  while the meeting is in session. Materials related to an item on this Agenda submitted to the Council after distribution of the agenda packet are available for public inspection in the Office of the City Clerk at 14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills, CA during normal business hours.

CONSENT CALENDAR (10 ITEMS) - All matters listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine by the City Council and may be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless, before the City Council votes on the motion to adopt, Members of the City Council or staff request the matter to be removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action. Removed consent items will be discussed immediately after the adoption of the balance of the Consent Calendar.
 
11.   Approve March 13 and 14, 2018 City Council Regular and Special Meeting Minutes
 
12.   Approve Warrant Registers and Wires over $25,000 totaling $2,543,278.88 for March 1 through 14, 2018
 
13.   Receive and file City Official Reports pursuant to Travel, Training and Meetings Reimbursement Policy for period of February 28 through March 13, 2018
 
14.   Adopt Resolutions supporting Proposition 68 (Senate Bill 5) Ballot Measure on the June 2018 Ballot supporting the California Drought, Water, Parks, Climate, Coastal Protection, and Outdoor Access for All Act of 2018; and Proposition 69 Ballot Measure on the June 2018 Ballot to Prohibit State Legislature from Diverting or Raiding any new Transportation Revenues for Non-transportation Improvement Purposes
 
15.   Adopt an Ordinance entitled: An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Chino Hills, California, Reauthorizing the Video Public, Educational, and Governmental Fee on State Video Franchisees Operating Within the City of Chino Hills - Second Reading (Introduced March 13, 2018)
 
16.   Accept English Creek/Channel Habitat Mitigation Project by Natures Image, Inc., as complete and authorize City Clerk to record Notice of Completion
 
17.   Authorize execution of Amendment No. 5 to Agreement No. A2014-49 with West Coast Arborists to increase annual not-to-exceed amount to $736,600 and extend termination to expire June 30, 2019 for tree trimming and removals on City's landscaped slopes adjacent to residential communities
 
18.   Authorize execution of three-year agreement with G.M. Sager Construction Company Inc., in amount not-to-exceed $1,250,000 including two one-year renewal options to provide on-call asphalt repair and maintenance services
 
19.   Approve appropriations amendment in amount of $8,800 from AB 2766 South Coast Air Quality Subvention Fund and authorize issuance of purchase order to Raceway Ford in amount of $60,710.79 for purchase of 2018 Ford F-250 Compressed Natural Gas service truck for City’s on-call program
 
20.   Authorize execution of one-year agreement with RJM Design Group, Inc., in amount not-to-exceed $89,110 with two one-year renewal options for preparation of design plans and specifications for Grand Avenue Park Artificial Turf Installation Project, and use of synthetic turf products from FieldTurf, USA, Inc.
